Running a therapy practice is hard.
That’s why you need a companion.
Here’s My Story
My name is Alison Maratos, and I want to be your practice companion.
I am here because I care about the therapy profession. A lot (maybe too much sometimes). I have been a Registered Social Worker for 30 years. I guess that makes me sound old. Whatever. If working with a Gen X-er isn’t for you, that’s ok with me.
I’m here because I see our profession growing at a rapid rate. Too fast. The result of this is a huge number of therapists who want so badly to do good clinical work, but who are struggling with the same issues:
Developing clinical confidence
Learning best practices for assessing, planning and documenting
Financial insecurity that comes from struggling to find clients and afford a practice
Lack of business knowledge
Fear
It’s time for therapists to gain:
The confidence that comes from knowledge
The fulfillment that comes from connection
The satisfaction that comes from doing amazing work
If you’re a Group Practice Owner, I’ve got you too!
I have struggled with the steep learning curve of managing my own practice and supporting a team on my journey as an “accidental” GPO (Thanks, COVID). The bottom line is, I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed with the magnitude of responsibility that comes from managing a clinical team and business. I have struggled with this through good and bad, and now I am ready to help you end the struggle and get your life back. Move on over to the GPO resources and find out how I have translated my clinical skills, love of supervision, mentoring, teaching and knowledge sharing into some supports I hope you’ll find helpful.
What some of your colleagues are saying about working with me.
